Before I begin, thanks to Pinterest for the photos in this post!
I believe almost all people need to feel love and acceptance. We need to be desired and respected. And we go about our lives craving to find that connection! We look to find that special person(s) who will give us what we need and allow us to return it to them. I’m fortunate. I have found a woman who I can’t imagine going through life without. We are on the same page on so much of life! We laugh, love and face the world together.
According to that awesome encyclopedia “Wikipedia”, Love encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states, from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection and to the simplest pleasure. Most commonly, love refers to a feeling of strong attraction and emotional attachment. Love is also considered to be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection…
So how do we say, “I Love You!”?? Obviously, I say it to my Queen many times each day! But words can be considered cheap. Many men have beaten their spouses and then afterwards claimed that they loved them. So I try to show her my love. I do my best not to ever take her for granted. I go out of my way to do little things for her. This is out of love and has nothing to do with the FLR. Within the FLR, I also try and show my love. I do my best to physically love her and make her feel good. I am getting better at doing what she asks or suggests quickly without delay. It’s part of the FLR, but it’s also how I show her I love her!
How does she say she loves me? Again she uses words, but her actions speak so much more loudly. When she spanks me, or punishes me, she is saying she loves me.
When she cages me and insists that I stay caged, she is saying that she loves me. When she gives me her golden shower, she is saying that she loves me!
When she travels to the gym with me, when she cooks with me, she is saying that she loves me. When we go on our walks together, she is saying that she loves me. When we watch a movie curled up together on the couch, she is saying that she loves me. When she insists I say my mantra without error, she is saying that she loves me.
So for us, we try to live love! I never want to have her feel unwanted or taken for granted. I never want to hurt her! I just want to experience as much of life with her as I can. So I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with my Queen, laughing, loving, exploring, and living. Because we are in love!
I never say it enough, but I always show it.

I imagine your suggested Pinterest pictures are a lot different to mine lol

Possibly. But Pinterest is the only place I look for pics. Everywhere else I’ve tried wants me to pay for the images I find. Thanks

Sometimes actions of love are the simplest things. i made a pitcher of ice tea for Daddy last night. This simple action brought tears of appreciation to His eyes, because even in the midst of stress and turmoil i remembered to do something just for Him out of nothing more than love and wanting Him to be comfortable. Love takes many forms. ♥

Very nicely put, I agree all the way.
I love my Wife, I know She loves me and we tell and show this to each other. But there is always room for improvement and we never stop growing. There is still so much to look forward to.

What a beautiful post. Actions mean so much more than words so often.

Thank you. Our actions speak for us in many situations. They often make a lie of our words.

Very true. But words mean so much when the actions match.

This is very relatable and such a good way of putting it! Words can indeed only go so far, but we can show that we love someone through our actions. In my case, one of the ways to show it would be, I guess, by serving in the best way I can

Certainly serving is one way of showing love! I do that for my Queen too!!

The community on here is full of wonderful people. We are all very different but also all very much the same. You’re correct in saying it feels good to find such accepting people who will support us!
